Enco introduces exotic crisps range
Enco Products Limited, market leader in the UK's fast-growing Caribbean food and drink market, is launching its first ever mainstream snacking range. The company, a division of Grace Foods UK, is introducing a range of three 85g exotic snacks comprising green banana chips, plantain chips and sweet plantain chips. The new products are targeted at consumers looking for a delicious alternative to many traditional savoury snacks. The new, exotic range will enable people to experience a tasty, new snacking experience. It will also provide retailers with an incremental profit opportunity by providing a major point of interest on shelf, says George Phillips, Enco Products' Commercial Director. Enco is backing the gluten free range, suitable for vegetarians, with a national sampling campaign and PR activity targeted at women's interest titles. Each of the three products is packed in outers of 12, with an rrp of 79p.
