The Wrigley Company is embarking on a bespoke Cash & Carry tour this August with the Wrigley Café to announce its three new product launches for summer - new Spearmint flavoured Airwaves Green Mint and two new Extra variants, Extra Fusion Strawberry Peach and Extra Fusion Orange Mango liquid filled pellets.
As part of Wrigley's 2008 'direct to retailer' trade communications programme, the Wrigley Café is visiting three Cash & Carries in different locations around the UK. The Wrigley Café will be open all day whereby Wrigley will be on hand to discuss the latest NPD with independent retailers and advise how to help grow their Chewing Gum & Mints sales. Information packs including merchandising advice and samples will be available for retailers to take away.
All participating retailers will also be given the opportunity to enter a free prize draw to win a £1,000 cash prize and take advantage of a special trade deal with each Cash & Carry. For the day of the visit, retailers will be able to buy any 10 outers of Wrigley Chewing Gum & Mints and get an outer of the number one profit earning confectionery countline (AC Nielsen 2007 Total Coverage), Extra Peppermint free.
